Dr Mansoor Ali Khan BM
I did my PhD with Prof.TR Raju towards understanding the neuroregenerative aspects of CNS. I am fortunate enough to have worked with a person who knows both sides of a coin (neuroregeneration/neurodegeneration). He is a treasure trove of knowledge, his message to me: 'deadlines are not lifelines'!
Presently, I am working as a post-doc in University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) in Dr.Anjen Chenn's lab. He specializes in deciphering the role of b-catenin in stem cell proliferation and differentiation in developing cortex. I will be using his expertise in understanding 'enlarged brains' in autistic children. Previously, I was with Dr.Ghanshyam Pandey in Dept. of Psychiatry. His lab has attempted to associate the good and the bad of innumerable genes to mental blues.
PhD Title (2008)
Compensatory replacement of the projection neurons in the olfactory bulb following olfactory tract transection.
Current Details
Postdoctoral Research Associate
