He introduced several forms of well being ranging from the hedonic to the eudaimonic and discussed about the continuum of well being discussed in the field of positive psychology(the pleasant life, the good life and the meaningful life) as described by Martin Seligman. He then explored the physiological underpinnings of well being reviewing the current literature and put forward a hypothesis of how one might use these insights in day to day life.
